Robbie Savage doesn't hold back in criticism of Liverpool and Jürgen Klopp

Liverpool now have only the Premier League to focus on, while Manchester United are alive in three competitions.

Jack Stephens only made his Premier League debut three weeks ago, also on Merseyside, as a first half substitute in a 3-0 defeat at Everton.

The nervy affair, which was the second leg of the EFL cup semi-final between the two teams, was settled by a superb Shane Long strike in extra time.

Things do not get easier for Klopp's side with league leaders Chelsea coming to town on Tuesday, but the manager is hopeful his side can pick themselves up before then.

Richard Stearman put the visitors ahead in the FA Cup fourth round tie with a free header as Jurgen Klopp's side were immediately placed on the back foot with barely a minute played.

Liverpool's title rivals are all showing a much better resilience in defence and that is an area Klopp will be keen to address quickly. Shows a lack of knowledge of the depth in English football and respect'. I'm fortunate in that we don't really have another left back so the manager can't rest me. That is a good tactic if it is to deflect attention from under-performing players and help rally the troops.

"I thought we deserved it, I really did". It was no great surprise when Wolves went two up before half-time, for Liverpool were allowing their opponents to play and presenting very little threat of their own. I am responsible for the line-up.

Liverpool's week has just gone from bad to worse following a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at home in the FA Cup.

"It doesn't feel too good right now, but I know myself long enough to say that tomorrow I will again be in the mood for the challenge".

"Today, the handball was for me obvious".

"He's always the type of player that, when he comes on, you're thinking: "he'll cause a problem with his pace"".

"I'm not one of these who wouldn't celebrate, I'd be going mad".

Four wins in the last 10 matches in the league followed by League Cup semifinal knockout by Southampton mean the Anfield natives are restless.

Remarkably Wolves boss Paul Lambert has never lost at Anfield but he felt this result surpassed all his previous visits.

"Us thinking about the final and getting excited about it will not make it come any quicker".

'We didn't underestimate Oxford, ' he insisted. We have the next chance tomorrow.

Perhaps the greatest drama was at White Hart Lane where Spurs' Son Heung-min scored a stoppage time victor after Mauricio Pochettino had sent on Dele Alli after an hour to help turn around the match.
