Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 could be launched at MWC 2017

Less than a week after Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was spotted on GFXBench, the tablet now appears to have cleared the FCC certification.

Samsung has not updated its rival for the iPad Pro for some time, meaning that a refresh is imminent as it looks to take on the likes of Apple in the premium tablet market. While mobile enthusiasts expected Samsung to launch the Galaxy S8 during the MWC, we now know it will release at a separate event in either March or April. However, given that these devices have been here for a few years and they haven't really attracted a huge following, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 could be the real deal.

The Tab S2 successor will run on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Past rumours have suggested that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be a major upgrade to its predecessor, which was originally launched back in September 2015.

The company initially determined that batteries supplied by Samsung SDI, which were not used in the phablets sold in China, were the root cause of early explosions, leaving Chinese customers without a recall option. Samsung's S8 unpacked event is on 29th of March in NY, while they roll out to the stores on 21st of April.

Reports this week suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will launch on March 29th.

In the Geekbench listing, the product that bears the model number SM-T825 boast 4GB of RAM, and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) SoC chipset.

Thrilled for the Galaxy S8 or the Level In ANC wireless headphones? "Design and Manufacturing Defects" also posted on Weibo by Global Times, a netizen said "I believe (Samsung) initially said that the Chinese customer (who reported the phone catching fire) was responsible", and another, "the smartphone itself is also defective, not only the battery".

The manufacturer of Nokia might remove the front-mounted physical buttons plus a Carl Zeiss and a heart rate monitor is anticipated to join.

Two capacitive keys flanking an elongated home button have always been a staple of Samsung phone and tablet design.

Samsung is expected to drop the Edge variant of the Galaxy line, as both S8 models will sport "dual edge" displays which wrap around the S8's sides like an infinity pool.
