IOS 10.3 beta 3 now available for iPhone and iPad

iOS 10 adoption appears to be slightly outpacing iOS 9 adoption, which stalled at 77% of active devices last February.

Apple's latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 10, has been out since September 2016. The new update brings with it brings with it a new feature called Find My AirPods and this makes things a whole lot easier for anyone who has lost their ear buds.

Registered developers can download the third beta version of iOS 10.3 from the Apple Developer Center or from the appropriate configuration profile installed. Users still receive notifications (including haptics) while in Theater Mode, which they can view by tapping the screen or pressing the Digital Crown. Users will be able to quickly access their contact information, security settings, payment information, iCloud settings, App Store settings, Family Sharing settings and more.

- When installing iOS 10.3, it will update the file system to Apple File System (APFS), so it's important to make a backup before updating. This third beta includes mostly bug fixes, though reviewers have identified a new "App Compatibility" section under Settings. However, it is new to the Apple Watch.

Speaking of the 3D touch system, it can be tweaked in order to change its intensity in the control icon on the devices which operate under iOS 10. We're likely still a couple of months away from seeing a public launch for iOS 10.3, but the new software will introduce a multitude of features that iPhone and iPad users can begin looking forward to. SiriKit has been available on iOS smart devices since the release of iOS 10. A downloadable version of the software should also be available soon through Apple's website.
