Perth Adele impersonator joins her idol for onstage selfie and singalong

Singer Adele was left starstruck when she pulled a drag queen impersonator onstage with her and handed over the microphone.

Adele's Australian debut in Perth last night saw the United Kingdom superstar play her first ever stadium show, equipped with a brand new 360-degree stage, a stack of confetti galore and an awesome visual production, but the singer revealed more was planned until an incident during soundcheck.

But Adele confessed that as the concert started with Hello, she could not hear anything.

While walking around the large venue, Adele quipped about her concert exertions telling the audience: "The weight is going to fall off of me on this tour".

"Can I sing for you?"

That said, perhaps the superstar underestimates what big news she is.

Now that she's been given the official stamp of approval from the Grammy-winning singer herself, Feminem should have no trouble booking all the Adele-impersonating gigs she'll ever want to take.

The Grammy and Oscar victor could add stand-up comedian to her talents, as she delighted the crowd with several amusing anecdotes.

The 28-year-old left the stage briefly, during which a kiss cam provided a lot of laughs, before she returned for an encore to perform When We Were Young, Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You. Feminem asked, and then proceeded to belt out the tune a cappella, while Adele danced and clapped along. The singer complemented her and even said she looks better than her.

"We've been rehearsing here. and my son was watching in the crowd", she explained.
