Walking Dead fans are savvy.
Obviously they didn't kill Negan either - with two episodes remaining this season, the strutting villain was never going to be bundled hastily off stage. It turns out that Daryl is still overwhelmed with guilt over Glenn's death, to the point where he can't even look Maggie in the eye. "I loved how that was handled in the show, and it struck me that I don't know when the last time he shared that information with anyone was, so that shows a really nice relationship with Maggie", he told Hollywood Life.
The moment occurred in a conversation between the elusive hero and Maggie. It wasn't until season 7 premiered that viewers finally witnessed the deaths of Abraham and Glenn.
"I jump off and I'm, like, kung-fu kicking, earn my action figure, half way through I get bit". And who does she decide to bring with her to do it? Jeffrey Dean Morgan has said he'll be back for Season 8 and that he's in it for "the long haul".
Sasha and Rosita are taking this approach as they appear to be training members of the Hilltop to fight, but have a plan of their own. He might not tell Negan, but he does play the part of an incredibly cowardly person who's comfortable in his new Savior role. Have Rosita shoot Eugene on the spot, a man who's caused so much trouble in the past and who is now choosing Negan. Kirkman told a PaleyFest audience he was "happy" to include a gay character on the show, adding that he hoped it would inspire people.
Paul "Jesus" Rovia, played by British actor Tom Payne, came out as gay during season seven episode "The Other Side", which aired in the USA last night (20 March).
