MLB, Majestic unveil special event uniforms for 2017 season

The league's other teams will wear similarly-themed jersey combinations - which also include custom socks - throughout each weekend. But past year Major League Baseball debuted a set of pink-trimmed uniforms. And proceeds from the Memorial Day and Independence Day uniforms will go to MLB Charities, which supports a wide array of charities and programs. Jersey graphics are rendered in military olive, and each team will wear five black stars on the right sleeve (except for the Blue Jays, who will wear five black maple leaves instead), representing the five branches of the United States military.

Teams will be wearing these uniforms for all three days of the Memorial Day weekend, which means some clubs will be going from home to the road on Monday (or vice-versa). The road jersey has the same lettering style, but with a gray base.

On Tuesday, participants in the All-Star Game will wear their normal uniform jersey with one adjustment: a patch on the left sleeve featuring a black and gold star with a number in the middle representing how many All-Star appearances that player has. The road uniform will be worn July 1 and 2 against the Mets and the home one will be worn July 3 and 4 against the Pirates.

Teams will participate in the National Moment of Remembrance on Memorial Day. The entire American League will wear this jersey for the Derby, differentiated by a patch on the left sleeve specific to their MLB team.

The 2017 MLB All-Star Game is in Miami and the hats and jerseys for the game itself (July 11) and the Home Run Derby the day before reflect a bit of Marlins flare.

For Father's Day, there will be light blue incorporated in the team's logos with the caps having a blue shadow tech heather crown and graphite visor.

The All-Star Game jerseys will again be the team's own jersey, but the caps have logos and lettering recolored to be gold.

Major League Baseball will also donate money from the uniform sales to various charities.
