Real Madrid star tells club to sign Dele Alli

Dele Alli hails Tottenham Hotspur's latest "fantastic performance" and believes that the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United will fear visiting White Hart Lane. "I told him to try to get that 20-goal mark - for a midfielder that's unbelievable", Kane said after playing the final half-an-hour against Watford.

Chelsea's quest for a second Premier League title in three years - and Tottenham's attempts to stop them - will feature heavily in the television schedules over the next few weeks.

England global and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is good enough to play for any club in the world, according to Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, himself a former Tottenham player.

Mauricio Pochettino'side have yet to lose at their home ground this season.

Last season's PFA Young Player of Year has now been involved in 40 Premier League goals in his short top-flight career - more than Frank Lampard, David Beckham and Steven Gerrard combined before they had reached their 21st birthdays.

"The future looks fantastic for Tottenham and you'd like to see Alli stay there, with Harry Kane and some of the other youngster players".

"Teams are going to be scared to come to White Hart Lane", he said.

"All his goals are scored with frightening efficiency".

"We were very clinical, ' he said of the win over the Hornets, in which Heung-min Son hit a brace after Eric Dier doubled the hosts" lead.

"I remember after a game many people criticised me, killed me, killed him and time has shown we are right to support him".

Despite transferring for a then world record fee from Tottenham to Real Madrid, Gareth Bale retains a certain affinity for Spurs, the club that helped him develop into the player he is today.

However, Pochettino believes Alli is the type of player who thrives on love rather than punishment and he is determined to bring the best out of the England worldwide.
