Starbucks unicorn frappuccinos may be coming soon and they look magical

What's this colorful pink and blue drink that comes with a dash of sparkle on top?

This means that, unlike coffee-based Frapps, the Unicorn version has zero milligrams of caffeine.

Advising drinkers to give the beverage a stir for a magical transformation, Starbucks revealed, "Its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart".

Starbucks says the beverage starts as a purple drink with swirls of blue. According to him, it's "a mango creme frappuccino with a couple of pink powder scoops, sour blue syrup drizzle and whipped cream sprinkled with blue and pink powder". The mango flavor, the sour aftertaste and the creamy sweet finish all made the drink great, but it made it overwhelming.

It will be available for a limited time, from Wednesday through Sunday, while supplies last.

Starbucks introduced their new Unicorn Frappuccino for a limited time.

Social media has been abuzz with rumors of a new Starbucks drink for a while, and now, those rumors have been confirmed. There's no video evidence yet, because the drink hasn't officially launched, but if that's true, it really is magical.

Starbucks' Unicorn Frappuccino is an instant Instagram sensation. While the drink has a certain visual - or at least 'grammable - appeal, the reviews of the actual taste include the phrases "horrible sour syrup" and "just like those tropical Skittles". "Once only found in enchanted forests, unicorns have been popping up in social media with shimmering unicorn-themed food and drinks", Starbucks said in a statement. The fruity drink will be available in select stores April 19-23.

"The bright colors and flavor-ambiguous name will of course drive sales because experience hungry gen-Z-ers will want to be in the know", Kahn added.

The drink's colors and name are created to appeal to generation Z, or consumers born after 1995, she added.
