Moto G4 Play to get Android Nougat in June

Lenovo's Moto Z2 Play has just surfaced in a leaked press render image which shows most of the phone's design. Is there any chance this Moto Z2 Play has a 3510mAh battery?

Tech experts believe these are the images of Moto Z2 Play. As its predecessor the Moto Z2 Force will incorporate a 5,5-inch touchscreen display with a QHD resolution. The roll out will begin in the USA region first, followed by other markets later.

In other Motorola news, renders of the Moto Z2 Force also leaked recently, which revealed dual cameras, a huge camera bump, and the familiar Moto Mod connectors. The gold trim is also a recurring design feature, just like the round camera on the back of the handset. The tool lets users navigate the smartphone through swiping gestures on the fingerprint scanner. That means, the other Moto G4 series phone owners can expect Nougat around the same time.

While Moto Mods haven't set the smartphone world alight amid waning enthusiasm for modular phones, new ones keep on coming.

Are you still rocking a Moto Z Play?

Last year's Moto Z Play was mostly well-received, thanks to its fantastic battery life. Better yet, it supported Motorola's TurboPower fast-charging technology, which can deliver up to hours of battery in 15 minutes of charging. The smartphone was originally launched with Android Marshmallow, with the Nougat update the Moto Z Play is expected to bring several upgrades and improvements to the device. The smartphone further features 2GB of RAM which comes coupled with 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via an external microSD card. There is a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera on board. The handset in the picture strongly resembles the Moto Z Play in terms of overall looks.
