North Korea to extradite anyone involved in alleged Kim Jong Un assassination

It was believed that the relationship between China and North Korea had reached new lows in recent weeks as many feared that Pyongyang was prepping for a sixth nuclear test.

The creation of the centre focusing on specific threats, will allow the Central Intelligence Agency to "harness the full resources, capabilities, and authorities" to deal with North Korea, CNN quoted the statement as saying late Wednesday.

Kim was arrested merely hours after North Korean leader Kim Jong-un threatened to erase America from the face of the Earth.

The new unit will work closely with the USA intelligence community and the entire U.S. national security community to monitor the North Korean threat.

The Chinese expert also expressed his opinion on the possible consequences of a new nuclear test. As far as the United States, South Korea and Japan are concerned, they will insist on tightening sanctions through the United Nations Security Council. Both political and economic ties between Moscow and Pyongyang had stalled for years, and only recently, Russian Federation has again started reaching out to North Korea to establish itself as a major player on the Korean Peninsula and the Asian-Pacific region.

Tensions on the Korean Peninsula began to grow in early 2016 when North Korea conducted a nuclear test and after that launched a ballistic missile carrying a satellite.

His presidential power came into force right after his election victory was confirmed by the national election commission as he has no usual transition period for the impeachment of his predecessor. "If the U.S. moves an inch, then we are ready to turn to ashes any available strategic assets of the USA".

The U.S. State Department issued a new travel warning Tuesday, advising Americans to stay away from North Korea. Pyongyang accused South Korea and the United States of plotting to assassinate the leader using biochemical poison. In order to de-escalate tensions surrounding the Korean peninsula, Beijing has come up with an initiative to call on North Korea to refrain from carrying out further missile and nuclear tests in exchange for the US and South Korea suspending their military exercises in the region.
